Standards and pacing

Pick frameworks, tag lessons, and act on gaps in time.

  1. Open Standards, then Frameworks and pacing, and choose each class’s frameworks and grades. TeachDay suggests some from your state.
  2. In a lesson, add standards in the Standards section, and say whether the lesson introduces, practises or assesses each one. Typing a code works too.
  3. Tag a whole unit to mark its lessons as planning to cover a standard.

Reading the tally

Taught: on a lesson in the past (or marked taught). Scheduled: on a lesson still ahead. At risk: nothing scheduled and the pacing target is close. Overdue: the target passed with nothing scheduled.

Pacing

Set a target date for a standard or a unit, or let TeachDay spread them across the year. An alert appears while there is still time; Find a slot shows the best places for a standard that has none. Dismiss an alert with a reason if it does not apply. A weekly digest email is on by default.

Export the coverage report from the Standards page.
