A receipt for your records
Every payment gets a PDF receipt with your name, the date, the amount and “educational software subscription”, from Settings, Plan and billing. Teachers often keep it for the educator expense deduction; we can’t give tax advice, so ask whoever does your taxes.
Questions
- What happens if I stop paying for Pro?
- Nothing is deleted. The planbook you worked in most recently stays writable; the others become read-only, and you can still print and export all of them. Upgrade again and they open back up.
- Is printing or export ever behind a paywall?
- No. On every plan, paid or not, read-only or not, you can print and download everything.
- Can my school pay instead of me?
- Yes: the School plan is invoiced, with a purchase order and a W-9. Your planbooks move over as they are.
- What counts as a planbook?
- One school year of your classes, schedule and lessons. Starting next year from this one makes a second planbook; that is where Pro comes in.
- Do my students need accounts?
- No. TeachDay is for teachers. There are no student accounts, rosters or grades.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes, from Settings, Plan and billing. You keep Pro to the end of the period you paid for.
