School calendars and Google

Open Settings → Integrations (from the sidebar’s bottom links).

Follow a school calendar

1. Copy your district’s calendar link (it ends in .ics or starts with webcal://).
2. Paste it under School calendar. TeachDay reads the year ahead and proposes the no-school days and early releases it finds.
3. Review each one: accept, or dismiss. Accepted days appear on the week’s heads-up rail, where you push the classes they affect.

Nothing changes in your plans until you accept and push. Sync again any time to pick up changes.

Your lessons in your calendar

Make a private calendar link for your planbook and add it to any calendar app. Make a new one to retire the old link.

Google (Pro)

• Calendar: read a school calendar from your Google account, and put your lessons on a calendar TeachDay makes (it cannot touch your other calendars).
• Drive: attach files you pick to a lesson. TeachDay can open only the files you pick.
• Classroom: post a lesson’s sections and links as an announcement or an assignment, as a draft or straight away.

Each is connected separately and can be disconnected at any time, here or in your Google account.
