Importing from PlanbookEdu or Planbook.com
Bring last year’s plans, or this year’s so far.
Set up your classes and schedule first (or explore the sample), then open the planbook’s Settings → Import.
From PlanbookEdu
- In PlanbookEdu, print or save a week or range as PDF, or export to Word.
- In TeachDay, choose PlanbookEdu and drop in the file.
- Match each of their classes to one of yours, check the preview, and import.
From Planbook.com
- In Planbook.com, export a class as CSV (best) or Word.
- In TeachDay, choose Planbook.com and drop in the file.
- Match classes, check the preview, and import.
From anything else
Paste a table (date, class, title, notes) or upload a CSV. Standards codes in the text are recognised and tagged.
Good to know
- Lessons land on their dates; running the same import twice does not duplicate them.
- Attachments and formatting beyond plain text do not come across.
- Coming from another TeachDay account? Use a TeachDay export (JSON) from Settings → Export.
